Foundation of Family Medicine
- 1-year Certificate Course
Overview:
South Asia is home to one-third of the world population. The health indicators of the region point towards the need for competent primary care physician to promote health and prevent disease.
Foundation of Family Medicine certificate Course by the MRCGP [INT] South Asia Board, covers the South Asian context of common clinical encounters and morbidity patterns incorporating best practices.
A panel of experienced and senior Family Medicine physicians and academicians from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh have been carefully selected as facilitators to deliver the content of the course. The programme duration is 45 weeks and it has a robust assessment system.
The goal of the programme is to:
- Enhance knowledge and skills among GPs to improve patient care and health outcomes.

- Fresh Medical graduates after completion of internship
- Postgraduate trainees
- General Practitioners
Required Documents:
The candidate must have the following:
- MBBS degree
- Internship completion certificate
