    Learn the theory and practice of clinical research with experts

    This course is intended for clinicians, academicians, trainees, and students who intend to conduct clinical research. The course is made in a simple way so that it is comprehensible for everyone. The course focuses on research designs and the relevant statistics that are applicable to clinical research.  The course is divided into three modules to be completed in three months duration. The modules comprise of self-paced learning contents with 6 contact sessions of 02 hours with hands-on activities and Q and A sessions. The course focuses on the practical aspect of research rather than the theory, however at the same time a good background of underlying theoretical perspectives has been given.

    Objectives:

    ·       Explain the fundamental of clinical research
    ·       Decide the appropriate study design and methodology
    ·       Choose and align the relevant methods
    ·       Choose the appropriate statistical tests according to the research methods
    ·       Write the research manuscript according to international guidelines

    ·       Statistical Analysis and interpretation
    ·       Manuscript Writing

    Mode: Online (both synchronous and asynchronous learning contents on LMS) The modules comprise of self-paced learning contents with 6 contacts sessions of 02 hours with hands-on activities and Q and A session.

    Asynchronous sessions will be given via Learning Management System and will comprise of animated videos, useful links, resources, search engines, pictorial presentations and discussions. Average weekly minimum 4-6 hours’ time commitment required from the course participants. Timings of Synchronous sessions: 0300 pm to 0500 pm (PST) on alternate Tuesdays via Zoom:

    Course Fee: Rs. PKR 30,000/-

    Duration: 3 months

    Certificate: Successful candidates will be given certificates, awarded by Baqai Medical University
