Complete online CHPE course with interactive sessions that are spaced at appropriate intervals to augment the self-paced online learning content on LMS. Ónline Interactive sessions of 2 hours, at 2 weeks intervals which are easy to manage in busy schedules. Experienced Faculty Interactions provides the opportunity to address practical problems that you face as a teacher. The course is designed to address the needs of HCPs early in careers and those who are well experienced.
The course comprises of six modules:
Module 1: Principles and Theories of Learning
Module 2: Pedagogical Strategies and Instructional Design
Module 3: Curriculum Development and Design
Module 4: Core Principles of Assessment
Module 5: Practical Applications of Assessment
Module 6: Innovations in HPE
This course is of 6 months duration, with monthly two zoom synchronous sessions of 2 hours (Saturdays 8am to 10am PST). A multimedia-rich online component on Learning Management System is an integral part of the course which comprises of animated videos, important links, resources as well as collaborative discussion forums. Assessment included 2 assignments and 3 Quiz.
Average weekly minimum 4-5 hours time commitment required from the course participants.
