An authoring tool is a program that enables you to create a digital course and publish it in select formats. Instead of using code to manually create a course, an authoring tool lets you use drag-and-drop and other user-friendly interfaces to make a course—no coding required. From there, you can upload the content to your preferred learning platform.

This course is of 8 credit hours, with monthly 2 synchronous sessions of 2 hours (alternate Sundays from 4-6 pm PST) , asynchronous learning on the course site with 4 assignments. A multimedia-rich online component is an integral part of the course. Both synchronous and asynchronous learning tools will be utilized.
Average weekly minimum of 4-6 hours of time commitment is required from the participants.
